Ingredients:
Urad – 2 cup
Green chilli – 4 – 5nos
Curry leaves
Salt – to taste
Onion – If needed
Oil – to fry
Method:
1. Soak the urad dhal in water for 1 hr and get it grinded finely by adding little water.(do not add more water else vada will absorb lot of oil)
2. Add the chopped onion, chillies and salt and mix well.
3. Heat oil in tawa, make the dough into small flat balls and deep fry.
4. Cook it, till it becomes golden brown.
5. Hot Urad vada is ready to be served with chutney or sambar.

Ingredients:
Tender corn – 5
Onion – 1
Tomato – 1
cocunut milk – 1/4 cup (grind coconut in mixie adding little water.

Baby corn Recipe
Extract the juice)
Tamarind – 1 lemon size
Sambar powder – 1 tsp
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
asafoetida – a pinch
mustard -1/2 tsp
Curry leaves
salt – to taste
oil – 2 tsp
Method:
1. Keep the corn, onion and tomato chopped.
2. Take a tawa, add oil, mustard seeds and curry leaves to it.
3. Now add the chopped corn, onion and tomato and mix well.
4. Add sambar powder, chilli powder, asafoetida and salt and allow it to get cooked for few mins.
5. Extract the tamarind juice and add it to the cooking vegetables.
6. Allow it to boil and finally when it starts to thicken add the coconut milk and allow it to boil for 2 mins.
7. Delicious spicy karakuzhambu is ready to be served with rice.

Instant Peanut Vadai
Ingredients:
Fried dhal – 1 cup
Fried groundnut(peanuts) – 1/2 cup
Red chilli – 4 nos.
curry leaves
Salt – to taste
Oil – to fry
Method:
1. Grind the fried dhal, fried peanuts and red chilli. (Do not grind finely)
2. Along with it, add salt and curry leaves and mix well.
3. Heat oil in a tawa, make the dough into small flattened balls and deep fry it.
4. Instant Vadai is ready.

Ingredients:
Vegetables –
Potato, Beans, Carrots, green peas all combined – 2 cups,
onions – 1 medium sized,
rice flour,
Rava,
salt – to taste,
oil – to fry,
Red chilli powder -1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Cinnamom – a pinch
Method:
1. Cut the vegetables into large pieces and steam the vegetables in a pressure cooker or a food steamer and mash them into a tight paste.
2. Add grated onions, salt, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder and ground cinnamon(a pinch).
3. Mash the mixture tightly.
4. Take some rice flour and add water to make it into a slightly
watery juice.
5. Make the vegetable mixture into evenly sized balls or any other shape with hand.
6. Dip this shapes in the rice flour and then cover it with rava.
7. Deep fry the balls until they turn golden brown.
